Having a truly trusted referral source makes all the difference, especially in home health care. Care At Home Private Care follows the philosophy of always putting patients first and doing the right thing. I’ve experienced this with their team over and over, from Liz their owner and their top notch care givers.
Thank you for everything you do!

Liz and her staff have been an enormous help to me and my siblings as we've cared for our mom this past year. Liz has provided us with a staff of caregivers that have been loving and nurturing, smart and engaging. They have kept our mother comfortable, especially during the Pandemic when so much of the world has slowed down. We feel confident that Liz and her staff are there to handle our mom's medical needs. We are grateful for Liz and her staff!!

My mom was released from the hospital and spent 9 days at home in hospice care before she passed away. I feel incredibly fortunate that we found Care at Home. We had a team of 4 caregivers who rotated every 12 hours and that consistently was wonderful --- incredibly empathetic young men who were knowledgeable about mom's needs and terminal diagnosis. They were so kind and gentle with her and also with us. They all gave us information so that we would know constantly what was going on with mom and what to expect. Because of them, mom had a calm, painless transition from life to death in the best possible way. I cannot thank them enough.

On November 22, 2018, my Father, 92 years old, had hip surgery. Unfortunately, that was a game changer for him. Up until that point, he never needed to use a cane or walker. As time went on, he began having problems. His parotid glands swelled up, he was dehydrated, he began grinding his teeth and he developed pneumonia. We had a care giving service for almost four years. They were a companion service to assist in preparing food, light housekeeping and dispensing medication. However, when my Dad was hospitalized for his first pneumonia, I realized that I needed another service. I wanted a service where my Father's care was monitored and managed by nurses. It was difficult to find such a service until I discovered Care At Home.
Care At Home is a service that I never experienced before. They take a personal interest in my Father. Since their staff is made up of Nurses, Certified Nurses Assistance, Dietitians and Physical Therapists, I know that my Dad is getting the care that he needs. I needed caregivers that can explain to me what is going on and provide me with information so I can manage my Father's care. I know that I am working with a great team of people. They are very knowledgeable in wound care, IV hydration, helping my Father gain weight, preventing any further development of pneumonia, assisting him with his dysphasia, making sure that he moves as much as he is able and helping him maintain his independence and dignity. In addition, they assist me in obtaining the appropriate medical information, supplies and equipment. The owner even went to companies on behalf of my Father to help him get the proper bed. I recommend Care at Home to anybody who does not want to worry about their love one.
